We bought Our House in Cyprus in December 2001 and after awaiting planning permission and the renovation work the house was finally finished in July 2004.
After selling our UK house and leaving our friends and family behind we headed off to Cyprus to start our new life in July 2006.
We have been busy ever since we arrived getting the house ready for the winter by installing central heating and a log stove for our first winter in Cyprus. As we didn't know what to expect we geared up for the unexpected through out the summer but when winter finally came we found ourselves pleasantly surprised by the weather. The days were generally sunny and sometimes 21-23 degrees down at the coast. The nights were chilly but with the heating we had and alternative of the log stove we were quite snug and cosy. Now we are getting ready for the summer again and have installed the pergola for the sun and BBQ for the outside living.
